Todra Gorge

We took a bus from Arfoud to Tinehir. From there, we took a grande taxi to the todra gorge. The gorges were monstrous covering parts of starlit sky. As we walked in pitch black darkness, the cool water from mountain streams felt good ( although not the frogs in them !). The green palmaries were a treat after spending many days in the bare deserts and contrasted the harsh gorges. In the morning, we rode at the back of a truck. For Valli, it was a first ( I had once hitched a ride back in India after a trekking trip). This truck seemed more tourist friendly, since there were railings to hold onto !
